I would think there should be a way to change an automation into a scene, and vice versa. If living small as I am, the automation’s you have can just as easily be needed in a manual sense, hence the need to convert between them.

As i understand it, scenes is only thought to be a shortcut to the “then” command. But I can agree with you that it would be nice to be able to export the “then”-part of an automation.
